How to get started with Licensetracker
It is very easy to get started with Licensetracker and normally you are up and running in less than one day.
Below we describe the steps you need to take:
Server
- Find a suitable server
- Install operating system and selected database
- You will find the system requirements here
Preparations
- Locate the licenses and license servers you would like to monitor
- Document the license names and port numbers for each feature
installation
- Installation of Licensetracker normally takes 2-4 hours including configuration of the monitoring agents
Education
- Primary user education takes 2-4 hours and is normally held direct after the installation
- After one to two months we conduct a deeper one day education where we go through all features in Licensetracker
